Lord of the Rings Lego Minifigure Gollum: A Must-Have for Fans

As we continue our weekly tradition of watching a family film on Sundays, I couldn't help but think about what better way to celebrate that than to choose a LOTR minifigure this week. In fact, until yesterday, I had never seen Lord Of The Rings! This week's Minifigure Monday is Gollum (LOR031), and I'm excited to share my thoughts on this iconic character.

As fans of the Lord of the Rings trilogy know, Gollum plays a crucial role in the story. His obsessive desire for the One Ring drives much of the plot, and his conflicted loyalties make him a complex and intriguing character. The Lego minifigure of Gollum captures this complexity perfectly, with its eerie green skin and fish-like eyes.

But Gollum is more than just a great minifigure - he's also a key player in one of the most iconic scenes from the trilogy: the destruction of the Ring at the Crack of Doom. This scene is a highlight of the series, and it would make for an amazing Lego set. Unfortunately, the Lego Lord of the Rings line of sets never included this scene, leaving fans like me feeling incomplete.
